Roy with big 52.. Grant Hill got beat

The Suns lost today.

Brandon Roy scored 52 points.

No one could stop him. Not even Grant Hill. And this is coming from someone who said:
“..Grant Hill was another big player who had an all-around game. He could shoot, he could pass, he could defend. Grant Hill would’ve been one of the best players in the NBA if he could’ve stayed healthy.“

I was watching the game on TV, 3rd quarter, Grant Hill was defending Roy and he got beaten by Roy’s speed and agility. Roy made shots even when Hill contested it.  

With the Suns losing to young teams like the Blazers, I don’t think they have that shot making it to the Finals.

I’d like to think they’ll make it and win a chip or two since they recently traded for Jason Richardson. Now, they should be a pretty athletic team with all the right veterans.

But with a new coach and this new trade rumor, I see a bleak future for the Suns.

I like Hill a lot. He’s the quintessential role model in sports. But his game is now far-fetched from what he used to be in Detroit.

Hope he steps up because he’s not getting my vote for this year’s All-Star.

Looking forward to the plastic ones.. not the movie

Year 2009 is just around the corner and though the movie is to be release by August’09, I’m really just not buying into the hype that the Joes and Cobras are going to be as realistic as ever (the Baroness is hot though).

What I’m looking forward to is the toyline. Just check out Sideshow’s Snake Eyes (boooooring), Cobra Trooper (like Frank Sinatra on roids), and Cobra Commander (’tis about time they made him respectable).

Let’s see if they can come up with some more cool Joe toys.
